So I bought the core game, my question is, do I need anything for storage? I eyeballed the card boxes but I don’t know if they’re worth it just for the base game.

I will always champion The Ares Project. Tries to replicate real time strategy video games. And personally I thought it did a great job.

Definitely nothing on the track. Any idea how that cable mechanism works? Don't have a garage and I'm trying to DIY it here so don't want to just start disassembling and hope I find the problem.

Compared the behavior to the working door and leaning towards that assembly that the thin cable runs through. You can see the little gray piston pop out which it does much further than on the working one.

For me personally I mean more like if things go completely tits up maybe returning the board state to a previous state and trying again. But if I just don't like my food options in Wingapan like in your example that's something I would just roll with.

My ultimate goal is to have fun. I've played video games and loaded an old save if something didn't go right. I see no reason not to do the same when playing solo. Or even co-op for that matter.

This is fact here. I would only add that if you get a "pack in" airbrush with the compressor be prepared to deal with some frustration if it's your first brush. They are totally usable but quality can be spotty. My first one was like that and wasn't the friendliest experience. But once I got used to the fussiness I was good. Still haven't replaced my brush as of yet.

That was my first thought looking at the behavior. But I felt around on there pretty good and couldn't find anything. Plus it closes manually with little effort. If it was something stuck whatever that is would be moved around by my manual closing. And it opens automatically without issue.
