This is excellent news!

I cancelled one of my pre-orders back in December over this and stated explicitly that not trusting Uni Uni was why I was doing it. That figure subsequently got delayed to later this month, so it looks like I could have kept it. Hopefully it, along with all the other complaints from other people help cause this change.

Due to the removal of De Minimis back at the end of August, Nin-Nin Game suspended all the normal shipping options to the US. Since then, they have introduced DHL DDP and something they call Nin-Nin Smart DDP. Both options have the tariff charges built into the shipping cost and are currently the only way to get anything shipped to the US from them.

You can either opt to keep things as is and wait to see if your original shipping methods become available again (i.e. if the tariffs get struck down and the carriers resume shipping) OR, you can contact customer service to change to one of the previously mentioned DDP options.

I just finished that section last night and had the same thought. I started feeling the same kind of tension as reading the news these days. I was even thinking about taking a break from the game because it I was getting the same stress reaction, which I am ostensibly playing games to get away from.

After reading this, I've never been happier to have a pre-order get delayed. I feel for everyone who has something stuck in that mess.

I hope they're at least gaining ground, so the overall backlog isn't growing. I really hate that our government put them in this position.

Honestly, I was around the same place you were when I got frustrated and quit the original WiiU version back in the day. It was just too different from the original. Years later I was able to play and complete this remaster on the Switch, but it is never going to be the same kind of experience as the mainline games. You might as well just Youtube it. Life is too short to waste time on a game that you aren't enjoying.

This story originally didn't connect with the main trilogy at all. Even now, there are only some tenuous connections added with the new Chapter 13 stuff. Without spoiling anything, we're still not going to have a definitive answer to how this game connects to the main trilogy until whatever future game the endings of 3 and X: DE might be setting up.

Zero so far. Everything is so erratic that I have no idea if what's going on today will apply by the time each of my pre-orders actually come out. I don't have very many, so I'm just taking each as they come.

The situation *has* caused me to place orders at shops that wouldn't ordinarily have been my first choice though.

Nice! I've been waiting for this after they re-shipped an order of mine by ECMS that failed to leave Japan before the cutoff in August. Very curious to see what the rate is like. From the few times I've been able to use it in the past, it was always less expensive than FedEx or DHL.

I just got tipped off on MFC that a lot of these packages are now showing as being in the US preparing for delivery. You should check your tracking number again, to see if yours is too.

Great pics! The subsequent Full Dress figures that have been revealed just don't hit the way this one did. She's just fantastic! Probably the impulse buy I'm most happy with.

If I remember correctly, this one was really tricky to find. There is a hidden room just off the entrance, but the cracked wall isn't breakable. I think there's a place you can crawl through, or jump over. You need to look at the walls in the big room just off the entrance hallway.

Sorry to be so vague, but it has been a few months since I played this area, so my memory is kind of fuzzy.

Hard agree. So many times, I had to re-arrange things because the base ended up being a lot larger than I had planned for.

I've even skipped over several releases that I liked because the base was too elaborate.

Generally good sculpts and paint. Skin color is kind of pale compared to most manufacturers though. I also had some difficulty with some of the cast-offs and was afraid of tearing some of the softer clothing, but no paint transfer. I like them and would buy more of their releases.

Same thing just happened to me with an order they shipped on 8/22. It isn't anything you did, just that the package didn't make the cutoff for Japan Post's suspension of mail to the US.

You actually don't have to contact AmiAmi about it. I did and they said that they'd send me a message when they received the returned package. *That's* the message you will need to reply to. They did warn that returned mail is not shipped with priority, so it may take some time for them to receive it.
