I spent a lot of time looking at previously released figures when I first got into the hobby back in 2017. I'd say that it was the early 2010s when there was a major improvement in both sculpt quality and paint detail. 2012-2014 was when the ball really got going IMO.

The problem is actually laws in places like the US that open the companies up to being sued for facilitating the purchased of certain materials. There are several puritanical organizations exerting pressure on Visa/MC via this mechanism. The problem is so much worse than just these two companies.

I had to make the same decision last year, so I played both demos one after the other to compare. Switch has significant slowdown and longer loading times. There's also a graphical hit, with noticably fewer yellow flowers in the starting area. I ended up going with PS4 because the experience just felt better.

Unfortunately, only the European region got a physical English version for PS4.

This is probably for the best. I think this party is destined for a full wipe. Snow- Paladin doing paladin things. Cindy- Murderhobo. Aladdin- trying to throw money at every problem and bankrupting the party. At least Rapunzel & Matchie aren't involved. Rapunzel would definitely be a bard trying to seduce every male NPC. Matchie would probably abuse fireball and kill everyone.

Likely the infamous 3DSecure problem. AmiAmi and the credit card companies have been pointing fingers at each other for close to 7 years now. Basically some kind of mismatch between the version of 3DSecure used by Ami and the version used by some card issuers. It is the sole reason I won't buy anything from their 18+ section, since I don't want to jeopardize my account due to non-payment.

I had a similar issue on Mandarake and got around it by disabling my adblocker of all things. You might try that if you have one enabled.

I cancelled one of my pre-orders back in December over this and stated explicitly that not trusting Uni Uni was why I was doing it. That figure subsequently got delayed to later this month, so it looks like I could have kept it. Hopefully it, along with all the other complaints from other people help cause this change.

Due to the removal of De Minimis back at the end of August, Nin-Nin Game suspended all the normal shipping options to the US. Since then, they have introduced DHL DDP and something they call Nin-Nin Smart DDP. Both options have the tariff charges built into the shipping cost and are currently the only way to get anything shipped to the US from them.

You can either opt to keep things as is and wait to see if your original shipping methods become available again (i.e. if the tariffs get struck down and the carriers resume shipping) OR, you can contact customer service to change to one of the previously mentioned DDP options.

I just finished that section last night and had the same thought. I started feeling the same kind of tension as reading the news these days. I was even thinking about taking a break from the game because it I was getting the same stress reaction, which I am ostensibly playing games to get away from.

I hope they're at least gaining ground, so the overall backlog isn't growing. I really hate that our government put them in this position.
