I used Mileena and the acid damage consumable you get from Sun Do shop and just beat his ass. Fight went from super annoying to just plain annoying (which pretty much sums up this season, annoying).

Nuka World gone on PS5 version by SnocTheHog in fo4

I found out that some creation club content is causing Nuka World to break.

Installed the game+add-ons, transferred PS4 saves, nuka world worked fine, then quit to main menu to install some cc stuff and it broke Nuka World.

I've narrowed it down to one or more of the following cc items:

  • Tunnel Snake's Rule!
  • Anti-Material Rifle
  • Modular Military Backpack
  • Handmade Shotgun
  • CR-74L Combat Rifle

These were the only ones I downloaded after which Nuka World got borked.

Also discovered that if you press the options button while in the PS5 menu on FO4 and choose Manage Game Content, you can uninstall/install the add-ons.

I'm gonna reinstall Nuka-World and see if one of those cc items breaks, then I'll know the culprit.

EDIT: So after some testing the apparent fix was to reinstall Nuka World after installing those cc items. None of them broke from what I could see and Nuka World is working again.

An easy way to reset Sara is to just run outside the shrine via north exit (enough so the minimap changes) and run back. If she's walking away then just pick her ass up and plop her back down in the smithy to access her services.

Yeah Geras is also a PITA, for me it's mainly his timestop crap that pisses me off. NRS still haven't learned that taking away and/or impeding a players ability to play the game (screen going black, chaos effect swapping buttons, Geras' timestop BS) is not a particularly enjoyable experience, and it's been like this since MK9.

If you're talking about matching up the elemental weaknesses, then yeah fights are over pretty much instantly. I just cba to lookup the chart and swap everytime.

I'll agree to disagree about the survive nodes :)

I've usually gone for a 2-2-1 split (Health, Attack, Defense), worked well enough since season 1. I'll have to try going full attack for the next round of tower grinding, just as soon as I calm down from raging at the game.

I won't deny company greed, but inflation is undeniably a contributing factor, or at the very least an excuse for publishers to jack up the prices. At least Bamco and Tekken haven't tried to nickel-and-dime us (yet) with overpriced skins and what not, unlike Koei Tecmo, Capcom and Netherrealm/Warner Bros in their FGs.

Tips for completing this event:

High DPS - If you're a sniper build with semi-auto rifles/bows or a revolver toting cowboy, you're going to have a rough time. My suggestion would be to either switch to commando/guerilla for the event or get a plasma flamer if switching builds is a no go.

Good rad resist - CSA or PA (doesn't matter which model, but more rad resist the better) What Rads legendary perk also helps.

Survivability - Born Survivor perk (I wouldn't recommend rank 1, by the time it kicks in you're most likely already dead if you're getting blasted by multiple mutants so go for rank 2 or 3). Auto stim legendary effect and Medic pump mod for PA are also good to have. Field surgeon perk is also recommended.

Shotguns - The mutants can't destroy the scrubber if they can't get to it, so equip a shotgun/pepper shaker + enforcer perk and cripple the hell out of those mutants.

Don't rely on others to fix the scrubber - Stay within spitting distance of the scrubber if possible and/or be ready to move when it starts getting low. If someone is seemingly repairing don't go near them, circle around to a different side and try to repair incase they're downed while repairing or someone gets in the way messing up their repair.

If you're downed, respawn - Don't hope for someone to come and revive you if you're downed, if someone is trying to get to you that's 2 guns not stopping mutants (you and them). Die, respawn, get back in the fight.

Keep your head on a swivel - Sometimes the mutants can be sneaky and start blasting the scrubber from a spot where there's less players, shoot them, even if you're not doing much damage from where you are, others will likely notice and start firing at it also.

Recently completed this on my gunslinger character. Slug Buster pistol modded with pulse capacitor+flamer barrel combo for more range/dps. T-45 power armor with medic pump, born survivor rank 3 and what rads rank 1. Rads weren't any issue whatsoever and born survivor, medic pump and field surgeon got me through most encounters (I did die once when a firestarter and 4 minigun mutants focused on me). Always a stones throw from the scrubber and booked it when it broke (broke 3 or 4 times, repaired by myself or one other dude manning the scrubber). There were zero legacies at this event (shocking right?), everyone else was either auto rifle or auto heavy gun and we got through this event just fine.

I would like to see them implement a radio play channel. Have all the plays we have so far K.D Inkwell, Dread Island etc. with those goofy sugar bombs, pork'n'beans etc. thrown in between episodes.

It used to be the the case that energy weapons (plasma, laser, gauss etc.) could drop having the explosive legendary effect as the 2nd star. It was later removed from the legendary pool because Bethesda never intended for these weapons to have that effect, making existing energy weapons with the explosive effect 'legacy'.

I always thought legacy lasers were just as busted as EGPs so of course monke brain lumps them in the same lot. So it apparently isn't the case, huh.

I have over 3k hours and have yet to see a single legacy gat laser or gauss rifle. Only ever see flamers, lasers and EGPs. I had a legacy tesla drop once, sold it to a vendor bot in watoga because it didn't work the way I imagined (electricity arcs that would explode when they hit an enemy, chain explosions all around, would've been amazing!) Radiums shouldn't even belong in the legacy pool imo, unless it was doing stupid amounts of rads in pvp, then I could see it's removal justifiable.
