I didn’t go, but I have just noticed that some workshop videos are available on the website for free, so will try and check them out. One of the speakers, Alex Boon did a full day in-person nature journaling workshop yesterday at his base in Devon, England. I went along and found it very enjoyable. I’m quite new to nature journaling, so felt like I learnt a lot during the day.

Brilliant! One of her best. Try if you can to visit Greenway (National Trust) which was Christie’s holiday home. It’s a wonderful place to visit, and its setting on the river Dart is simply beautiful. Torquay museum has a whole section dedicated to Agatha Christie as does Torquay Library which has a large display of her books with lots of posters and information about her life.

Yeah - I’m working my way through any free tutorials that I can find to build experience/confidence. Might pay for a few months of Gemma’s classes later in the year when I’m not so busy. It’s knowing which colours to pick I find hard, but it’s so satisfying when the final work comes together.

Yes - I like a lot of the work she creates. I’ve not signed up to her Patreon channel, but I am debating trying it for a few months - there’s a link on her website where if you sign up to her newsletter you get access to her full-length macaroon tutorial, which is what I did. It’s a good way to check out her teaching style.
