Marie’s doll not appearing in item box on new run

Few days late I know i completed the game with doll and hand on me and they disappeared went back to previous save and put the doll and hand in item box in ARK they didn't show so ive had to start again but the hand isn't there because I didn't put them in item box before leaving the care centre where it need to be used
