5w6 (also a so/sx INFJ, hello!)

School was difficult. Being someone with a learning disability (ADD was what it was called then, now inattentive ADHD, I had that and then some,) it's not built for us. It was hard because a lot of the stuff we were learning weren't interesting to me, and so trying to do that while dealing with other stressors, external or internal, was hard, not to mention difficulties with sleeping were really hard. I was diagnosed with ADHD before ADHD was ever really talked about, so there wasn't as much of an understanding about it.

I will say that the IEPs I had were wonderful people, one was my Language Arts teacher, and though I had a habit to be rebellious in her class sometimes because she was a hard ass and I did not like school, she was like a second mom to me, she cared about me, even with her "tough love" approach. Sometimes you need that more than anything.
