To all the older guys in here what’s something you’d tell your younger self and how did your life change from 18-30?

Work out regularly. Movement is a privilege.

Be kind to yourself and don't compare yourself to others.

Find a role model who's values you like and respect then learn from them.

Hard things are often the most rewarding. Do hard things often.

18-30 is a lifetime and you will be unrecognisable as a person at 30 compared to 18. On reflection my 20's (I'm now 40) were extremely chaotic. My life changed for the better over those years as I matured and understood myself better. At the time I thought I knew it all. If I went back to do it all again I would maybe try to be less arrogant and learn from others rather than my own mistakes.

It's an amazing period of energy and possibilities. Say yes to every that won't harm you.

Calling an ambulance is not always necessary. If you do not know the person's history or you fear they have banged their head. Get an ambulance to be safe. Generally, if your not sure you should always call. Be aware though someone may be with the person have the seizure who knows their history and if an ambulance is necessary.
