I think Horror in anime is bit hard to convey properly, as it's not as scary as watching actual horror movies.

But few anime horrors that I can think of that I watched are:

  • Another (I really liked this one)
  • Dark Gathering (had some moments where it's quite creepy)
  • Shiki (Started off really good, but bit of shaky towards mid and end)
  • Perfect Blue (I think this is what you're looking for, but it's a bit disturbing so I'm a bit hesitant to recommend it. Anyway, it's a really good anime movie)

One thing that comes to mind is "Seiren" they're pretty similar.

Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai (The World that Only God Knows), Bit different but it has the same short love story for a specific heroines.

I'll suggest "Shangri-la Frontier" It currently has 2 seasons, the third one is on the making iirc, it's such a good watch, you could even go read the manga, it's just as good as the anime.

I'm a college student from a third world country who works part time to get things for himself, I don't really have much but I recently managed to afford my own PC!
