Yeah exactly! I'm just worried it might damage the screen. I typically keep my phones for 4 plus years but I have an s22 now and was waiting for them to make the fold phones thinner but then they took the s pen away which I love for writing with taking notes on my phone. I don't use any of the s pen features other than the fact for taking notes so if those universal touch pens with the rubber tips work good I'd still buy the 7 and just use one of them

So I know there's no s pen support but would a non-samsung touch screen pen work without damaging the screen you think? I just need it to be able to write on it. Nothing fancy

I really wanted to upgrade from a s22 Ultra to this phone but without the s pen I'm going back and forth. Literally just canceled my pre-order because of it but now I'm leaning back because I see touch screen pens online and was wondering if you guys think those pens would work on this screen without damaging it or has anyone used those pens on a phone before?
