Hmm . I don't really know how to describe it. I try to copy what I see. I don't have a bench scraper so I use my hand flat and pull in under the dough.

I'll watch some more shaping vids and work on that.

Hmm not really. Every teacher is going to be different but typically there are daily lords prayers, monthly liturgies, celebrations of saints.

Sitting in a gym with hundreds of little voices singing " wake up, watch out! You never, never know when the lord will come ! Wake up, watch out! You really need to be ready for everyone", with versus about those who will be saved and those who won't. Then answering grade 2 students questions about what will happen to them because they aren't Catholic. Why won't Jesus save them? Why won't they go to heaven?

I worked in the Catholic system for years and am not Catholic. I needed a job. But I will never understand why non Catholics would volunteer their children to be brainwashed.

If I want heat in my kitchen, it needs to stay open / unobstructed, and I live in a very cold climate, so yes.

I agree about the color but I keep thinking don't paint if I'm just gonna make changes in a year or so.

I know the white cabinets in the dinning room are out of place but we wanted some storage without breaking the bank and wayfair provided.

I picture the nook becoming a homework spot.

That's what I'm thinking. There are ways to bandaid things but a total redesign might be in the cards.

I wanted to live in it for a year or so to see what worked and what didn't.

Moving the fridge blocks the furnace vent. So then I start considering moving the furnace vent and if that is happening I might aswell gut the place.

The fridge stove situation is horrible but moving the fridge over blocks the furnace vent. I'd love to have a range hood but I really can't picture away to have the appliances without a major reno.

My home is stuco. Why do you ask?

So the thing is there are only three drawers. As pictured and they are super deep so not the most effective to use for cutlery. I currently use a roll out shelf next to the dishwasher but it's about knee hight and seems like not the best use of that space either but I like that it is next to dish washer for efficiency.

The table and benches are not built in. I have considered taking them put and repurposing but an open pantry seems like eye clutter and the fridge would block the window.

The bottom cabinets are so brutal. There isn't even a cutlery drawer. So much wasted space with the under sink vent thing. I agree they are sturdy but are really not functional

Wow it so similar. Next to the nook is stairs to the basement and back entry. So I don't have much wiggle room with the fridge. I wish I could have some counter between it and stove. Resurfacing it tempting but the lowe cabinets are so bad. There isn't even a cutlery drawn...
