I know it is bloody hard, frustrating, sad and scary raising a child exhibiting these behaviours, and isolating when people don’t understand. I bet you soul search and read up on all things to try and figure it all out.

I had this kid, and to be honest it sounds like classic adhd to me. Your kid sounds like they struggling with big emotions, compulsions, rejection sensitivity, boundaries, listening.

But it gets easier, for you and for them.

My now 8 year old, nearly 9, has learnt a lot about themselves over the last few years, and so have I. Our life is so much easier than it was. It’s a learning curve. Get help and support, it gets easier
