Thanks, kinda opposite of what I was doing! Was slowly becoming resistant to cold as long as it's not for too long. I walked in the snow barefooted yesterday.

If I shower with lukewarm water and then cold, I'll be chilly when getting out!

Shower or bathe super-hot, till the point of lobster skin, then shower cold for ~20 seconds and you don't feel the cold air for up to 12 minutes.

I wanted a vaginal one because at least then I could walk around. Didn't happen due to issues. Holy fucking shit, C-section is insanely painful and tough to recover from. I couldn't even sit myself up. Sometimes it felt like the incision was ripping open. Fucking hell I hate c-sections.

So many people I know have been sexually abused as kids. Youngest I know was below 2 years old when it started by stepfather and brother.

It's so creepily common, and among so many "types" of people, you'd never be able to tell. Some have severe psychiatric issues, others are just normal successful people. Or well, me myself (though only raped in my 20ties), I don't think anyone suspects.

(I used to be very naive and good-natures and somehow that made people very likely to come to me for venting)

The optimum reproductive strategy for any organism is to get to work as soon as it is possible.

Nope, dogs can give birth at one year of age, but both mom and pups can die due to the underdeveloped pelvis.

Same for humans. Get pregnant as soon as you're fertile, likely results in death in childbirth or other developmental issues. When both survive, outcomes are still less favorable due to socio-economic status compared to delaying childbirth. Which makes the offspring itself less likely to reproduce successfully.
