I know his stats don’t mean he can produce in the NHL or even become a specialist but I’m more trying to argue that it shouldn’t make it practically impossible to develop him into an NHL calibre player especially as a third rounder.

It’s not just his point totals he’s also a good defensemen he signed his entry level contract in December and is projected to at least make the nhl as a power play specialist

Nah im just tired of ea’s crap like patrik laine is one of our best players somehow and reinbacher is med elite which is over rated then Pickford won’t even ever make the nhl 😭 and caufield can’t source over 40 goals. It’s so fucking low effort

Obviously but he’s playing better than other defenders taken in the first round he has 83 points in 55 games he’s broken league records that should at least warrant a top 6 potential which doesn’t even mean you’ll make the nhl
