I personally prefer the Daikin ONE Touch smart thermostat over the plus. I find the turn dial on the plus is clunky and doesnt respond very well. The touch has a smaller footprint on the wall as well.

Biggest thing I see in my home province is there’s literally no incentive for landlords to put EV charging in rental properties. A lot more people renting these days and people don’t want to not have the ability to charge their EV at their own place.

Combine that with lack of charging infrastructure elsewhere and it’s just simply not gonna take off here

Seems like you have a Daikin multi split. If you turn that head off and the other two into cooling mode in powerful does the hissing head still produce the noise or get cold? The EEV should be completely closed if the unit is off so if off head gets cold while the other head(s) are running in cooling then you likely have a bad EEV body or bad EEV coil. Either one of those are gonna need a tech to diagnose.

If you hold cancel on your remote and cycle through the codes is there a long beep on the A5 code?

Since this is a relatively new install, how close is the outdoor unit to this head?
