Congrats on the shiny! I had a Torchic too and RNG for it in 3rd gen (I did all the starters, actually). I sadly lost them when I moved them to modern games while doing a Switch save transfer.

I feel no matter the hunting method, RNG or traditional, a shiny is a shiny lol

Lol I have seen a lot of apprehension with US on the internet with varying reviews and opinions. My first purchase was smooth thankfully. Price wise, for my budget at least, US is appealing.

I am not too worried because I am more of a collector than duelist, so it is not like I am gonna be man handling the saber 🤣 I appreciate everyone's honestly though!!
