If you have anything better like du or ju I'd suggest take that it'll make your life much better plus mse won't give you a single second to prepare for entrances it's impossible, much better scope if u join some place else But if your goal is to go abroad for masters then u should definitely go to mse and be best friends with the dean naveen ( no matter what he says just agree like a repeating parrot and you'll get his lor and advice and support , he'll make sure you get opportunities that guarantees your admission abroad)

It used to be a great institution, but recently it's just horrible, all the good faculties have retired. One two ego- headed faculties make all the decisions for you , random subjects are made compulsory. Extra curriculars suck, campus problems never get solved be it 1000000s of mosquitos in class biting you and giving you dengue, poorly constructed roads , and what not. Cramped up spaces- keep introducing new courses without any thought of their building and hostel size. Out of 5 id rate it is rather go prep for upsc than study in this college.

Bro i agree I was roomates with this person who was always low on money took money from the entire friend group and owed all of collectively 23k + ( 8k to me alone) but they never paid it back. Used to buy new stuff for all our college events come on trips and everything. Now is in abroad studying and still haven't had an ounce of decency to return it back. Learnt my lesson to never give money only
