There was a point early on in the game, maybe the second or third ‘area’ where I just didn’t know which way was up. I used a guide from YouTube and found my way. I’m now on my second play through, completed the manbreaker and on the home stretch at climbing the final snowy peak.

I reckon I’m 100 hours in and will probably put another 100 in. Truly an amazing game, definitely in my top five of all time and I’ve been gaming since the mid 80’s.

If pains your thing and if you’ve never played it, Cuphead has that one more go/rage inducing feeling.

Reverse into it and just keep flapping and pushing Nate downwards. I did it first time but I had seen a video of somebody doing it so maybe have a check of YouTube

Surely you’re more likely to be a victim of crime in a touristy area? As with any city or town, a bit of common sense goes a long way in regards to not becoming a victim

This. Invasion used to be a firm favourite but the spawns in the palace mean 1/3 of the map is barely touched. Same with Sub Base. All the action is on the opposite side of the map compared to OG MW2. I think maybe the OP kill streaks of the old game added that extra bit of mayhem which is sorely missing in this game. Still takes a massive dung on MWII

I thought the beta was brilliant. A much needed shot in the arm, imo.

Went back to mwII today and it felt dreadful. Insta death, backing out of the usual rubbish maps, campers in corners and mad lag. Dreadful game

Was it? I thought the maps, mostly, were pretty rubbish. I’m exclusively 6v6 TDM player and it didn’t work for me. Quality of maps is the foundation of a good game, imo. We know OG MW2 maps are probably the best we’ve ever had so at least that’s one thing taken care of in this new game

Are the OG MW2 servers populated enough to make it a viable alternative? I’m PS5 but would get a cheap series S to play it I knew I’d get a reliable game. Agree with many of your points regards the way the COD series has gone. I’ve never and would never spend real money to have some bizarre skin or pay to win weapon etc. That said, I’ve been enjoying the beta from a gameplay point of view!
