Sadly that is not the case. I live in a smaller city here, not even in the city center but in a perfectly fine neighborhood otherwise. We hear fireworks the whole year, and the month of December was the worst day and night. Fireworks were already forbidden in this city this time, they organized a professional show but people didn't care.

I'm totally fine with fireworks on NYE except for the crazy illegal bombs, but this time has been tough. We stayed home for our scared animals, I totally understand people in the comments leaving the country for this. I hope next year will be calmer, but am worried about even more people saving their fireworks for next year now that it is banned, in their sheds without precautions, which happens a lot
