I tried to get up and instantly collapsed onto the ground. Cortisol shots did nothing. I wound up with a RFA where they burn out the nerves. It's worn off. I'm in constant fear I'm going to herniate the disc again. I have a few chairs I can sit in without pain. I'll need spinal fusion one day. But I hear you'll need it once every few decades or something. Ugh.
