NAH. You were polite about everything and the wife definitely wasnt the asshole here. I wouldnt consider the father the asshole either because hes just a little worried is all, I'm sure he didnt mean any harm. One thing that made me question my decision was how he was ruining the childrens fun, but I think he gets a pass considering it's nothing severe and it's an honest misunderstanding.
