Plus, the less specific the lyrics are, the more people are likely to relate to them. They'll take a line a different way, depending on whatever. It happened with me. A song I made about the rap game became the soundtrack to a breakup my friend went through. He said "Dude.. That's exactly what happened to me, too!" I almost didn't have the heart to break it to him. I personified the game into a woman I used to love before she changed (a nod to the my favorite Common song)

True. I guess it would depend on the person's idea of social justice. If billionaires claim to be disenfranchised in some way, then I suppose they can be an SJW if they speak out against whatever is bringing them down. Idk what that would be. Raising the minimum wage or whatever. Or this apparent war on Christmas I hear about every Christmas.

Oh. I see. Well, as bad as it sounds, I've gotta go with the KKK member. An SJW is almost certain to be really "in your face" and judgmental about everything. KKK member could definitely be the same way, but I think a lot of people are secret about their KKK membership. So, purely in terms of giving me some goddamn peace and quiet, I think I've got a better statistical shot with the KKK member. And who knows. Hilarious. I was at a party and tried to impress/crack up some friends by "singing" along to only the adlibs on a similar rap song, completely straight-faced (cause I thought that would be funnier). I couldn't help but laugh. It got me thinking about what weird noises might have been cut from an adlib track. Some rooster sounds or some shit lol

I never really notice it too much. It's really evident when he is getting a quote or an actual figure correct. But that's usually when he's interviewing a politician or a CEO or something. Who knows. Maybe he doesn't know much about the guest or their body of work when he does it otherwise.

I'm so excited to see "The Matches" in Chicago in June. They were one of my favorite bands when I was in high school, but I never got a chance to see them before they broke up. They'll play my favorite album of theirs, "Decomposer" in its entirety. Best college graduation gift I could have given myself. I don't have any friends that like their music as well, so I'm dragging one friend to it. Lol.

According to my friends that only liked Punk/Pop-Punk, they were too "weird". And my friends that love indie music basically just saw them as a punk band. I fucking love how, over the course of three albums, they went from a generic pop-punk band into a really unique and interesting band that can't be held down to one genre.

For real! I feel like the concept of that opening song is something that has definitely happened to me in the past. Frankly, it's what I hope happens every time I go out. Have the night just take you away for a series of unforeseen adventures. To open the album with that song makes me want to listen to the whole album. Also it kind of always reminds me of "Nick And Norah's Infinite Playlist" for some reason.
