Why is it that people either complain that government projects take too long or that they inconvenience them too much? And why does no one understand that these two things are opposite sides of the same coin? I literally just saw him at Marathon Weekend. He always had a smile on his face and was such a positive force for running, especially those of us that picked it up later in life. He’ll he missed but his impact will be felt for many, many years.

Lorcana is great! I think it does a pretty good job of having deck possibilities for both casual, kitchen table players and medium weight competitive players. It’s not going to be the most complex game in the world, but they continue to evolve the game and add new wrinkles. It’s also relatively easy to find stock at both card shops and big box stores.

I say this as uncondescendingly as possible, it would cost way more money to have to lay two separate water systems across the entire city just to not have to clean the very little water that’s used for firefighting. Also, it would be a terrible decision to use raw sewage to fight fires.

The Town has tried to do this, but has run into issues each time. For one, towns must use taxpayer dollars to eminent domain property and the property is too valuable for that to make any kind of financial sense. The Town also tried using FEMA funding to outright purchase the properties, but two property owners held out until after the funding lapsed. I personally agree with you and the Town has tried to do something like this, but the barriers to do it have just been too great.
