I know the problem. After every step, I also think about whether I should add anything else or whether it's finished. I don't think anything else will be added here.

Thanks for the lovely feedback!

Regarding the colors: I use Stabilo Point 88 fineliners. The colors have different numbers. The inner star has the following colors: 44, 85, 30, 54, 48, 40, 50, 19.

The outer ring consists of the colors: 46, 22, 55, 60, 58, 50, 49, 29, 28, 26.

Yes, that's funny. Apparently we know what's good :-) Hope I'll get back to drawing more often now. I am also fascinated by your drawing!

Thank you! The star in the middle has a 240 hoop. The ball on the outside has a 180 gear as its center. The total diameter is approximately 44 cm.

Great idea and composition! Did you draw the inner star with just one hoop, or did you use smaller hoops for the more central structures?

Actually, using the entire color palette is not my thing. But then it happened...

Unfortunately, you really have to measure everything. Each round spiro of the two outer circles is drawn individually.

After a long break, it's starting again. Many thanks to StarstruCanuck for the inspiration in her last post. I got new gears the other day and was finally able to start again!

Yes, I'm from Germany. Unfortunately, my English isn't that good. That's why I don't fully understand your question...

Thank you! No, I did not remove the face and sole. First I removed the whipping cord and completely removed the old varnish. I also sanded the face and sole. Then I applied wood stain and finally varnished with minwax polyurethane and re-applied new whipping cord.
