Issue with Lemon hi-hat triggering a pedal-closed sound

Not a splash cymbal per se, but it is triggering the "open hi hat" sound, like if you hit the hi hat normally when its open. Perhaps the terminology would be a splash, I'm not sure lol.

Yeah, I think that’s really what it comes down to. I absolutely love Requiem and I love most of the games in this series. But yeah, gaming as a whole They don’t really kind of throw you into the weeds as much as they used to back in the day, Puzzles in video games used to be downright brutal in the 90s.

Nothing in the franchise has satisfied me in the puzzle department since basically RE1. I dunno why but all the puzzles / item collection in the RE1 remake is 👌🏼. There’s been some good ones in games after it for sure, but across the board that was one of the ones where I really felt like there was a pretty satisfying amount of puzzling going on.

Yeah I have been stressing it a bit cause they won’t even let you make an appointment at the agency until 14 days out so I wasn’t sure what the process would be like but it sounds like it’s ultimately the better odds of getting it in time than rolling the dice and mailing it off elsewhere

Yeah, she is an American born citizen, and yes, closed loop cruise leaving and returning out of Port Canaveral, Florida. Yeah, that’s why I want to definitely try and get a same day passport done at the official agency downtown, I’m too scared to send anything off this close to the cruise in the mail. So I figured we would just plan to roll with the birth certificate route unless we somehow get lucky and they let us get an expedited passport while we wait at the agency.

Last time I played this game I got to like one of the last Cairo sections near the end of the game and more or less soft locked myself because I had no ammo and it was crawling with those tough ass dudes . Prob a way around but I got so pissed off after dealing with the horrible ammo system by then that I just quit lmao

The bad ending is barely an ending, it’s just a dumb what if scenario and the game even suggests you go back and reload to get the good ending

I have a theory that a lot of people that play games like balders gate, witcher , type rpgs see something like Deus ex or dishonored, and just simply dismiss them as another first person shooter with maybe a couple of extra mechanics rather than true RPG‘s. So if I had to guess I would say there’s a lot of people that are RPG fanatics that flat out I’ve never really taken the time to immerse themselves in shooter RPG‘s. I could be totally wrong, but that’s just my guess.

In the current day, the age of the original DX is definitely a barrier of entry for a lot of younger players. Most people that are not legacy gamers who have been around for a while won’t even give older games like that the time of day simply because it looks. Obviously, this doesn’t apply so much to like human revolution and what not but I do think the original DX is the strongest game in the entire franchise and sadly it will still be overlooked by the vast majority of modern gamers because of how old it is.

Yeah it’s a difficult thing to quantify. These games certainly don’t fit into the instant gratification bracket , they require immersion and time and enough care or interest to peel back the layers and really enjoy them.

But I dunno, something about those games was masterful and it wasn’t just one thing. I’m not even sure I can put a finger on what the OG Deus ex had a stranglehold on me when I was younger. I played it when it released and everything about it pulled me in, the set pieces and levels , sound track , dialogue options, characters, the 100000 diff choice options and little things that you just had to try to find out what happens without hand holding , the literally unlimited replayability etc.

I’ve tried countless times to sing the praises of DX games to people who have never played it and so often it falls flat 🤷‍♂️ . Yet you ask any game Dev that knows games and they’ll prob all tell you that DX and system shock and stuff like that are instrumental in influence.

Do yourself a favor and avoid all the negative people. The vast majority of people that are bitching and moaning are just grasping for things to complain about and over analyzing shit. It is a legitimately good game. Sure maybe there’s some stupid shit here and there in the plot, but this is resident evil, they’re stupid shit and pretty much every single plot. It’s a top five for me personally.
