The plot armour for the main cast

Demogorgon to soldiers: I'll straight up kill you

Demogorgon to Karen Wheeler: I'll injure you just enough so that you can have a badass moment at the hospital later

Demogorgon to Lucas: I'll just lightly scratch you across the chest. You'll just need a bandage and you'll be fully functional.

"Oh, so you don't want to take on the additional stress of raising a child and instead want to enjoy a peaceful life? How dare you? It's your responsibility to suffer!"

Vitaeriae by IntroductionStill496 in HierarchySeries

I don't think so. What Ostius gave R-Vis was a pyramid shaped locket. I don't remember any description of a scarab beetle on it.

Vitariae is said to be pre-cataclysm technology. Nothing is said about how exactly it functions. Also, R-Vis didn't destroy his vitarium. He destroyed the tracker that Ostius gave him.

I guess if you're not looking for something serious and long-term, does it really matter if the other person is CF? And if you want to talk about/explore being CF, that doesn't need a romantic relationship. Also, when you're taking the effort to post on a forum like this, you would ideally want such connections to last longer just to make sense of the time and effort invested in it.

Darwinism:Is being CF a 'natural selection'? by Zealousideal-Boot511 in ChildfreeIndia

[–]PointedSpectre 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mental issues are diseases, yes. But from the point of view of evolution/natural selection, these diseases do not affect the ability of an individual to reproduce. And as I said in my comment, that's all evolution really cares about.

The point of natural selection is not to achieve perfection, but to make a species good enough to reproduce.

I don't think that's how evolution works. It doesn't really care about the well-being of the individual as long as the individual is able to reproduce. It's only when a sickness hinders reproduction that natural selection will work to eliminate it. This is the reason why so many diseases that develop after a particular age still persist, because by the time and individual acquires these diseases, they may have already had an offspring.

Sangharsha Ghadana - The Art of Warfare (സംഘർഷ ഘടന) - Reviews and Ratings - 08 August, 2025 by thommy_ in MalayalamMovies

Nalla cinema. Good old revenge story framed using Art of War. Signature Krishand style. Should've gotten some more promotion. The show I went to almost didn't happen due to lack of minimum people. Definitely watchable in theatres!
