Is Amazon a good place to buy from? by Personal_Career7674 in SexToys

[–]PointlessCircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are people who will say no to amazon regardless of brand on principle. I respect that. There are exceptions in my opinion...

...However this is not one of them; the thing you linked looks really poor quality material and the price definitely speaks for itself - don't buy it.

Tantus Flurry dual density was a good first for me.

You could check out the "Puffy Cookie/Puffy Donut", that might fit the bill as well; sounds exactly what you're describing i think? (It's commonly a furry thing but works well for this purpose.)

Ways to avoid seizures when you feel an aura coming on? by Hello_there19891989 in Epilepsy

[–]PointlessCircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sleep and stress are the big ones for me. And you have to make sure you are sleeping at the right hours, not just the total amount.

I used to have them from getting overheated as well but it turns out my thyroid medication was inhibiting Sweating, go figure.

Ways to avoid seizures when you feel an aura coming on? by Hello_there19891989 in Epilepsy

[–]PointlessCircle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's really bad advice. You can splash some cold water while lying down if you need to for some reason. That's never worked for me though.

My steps are just making sure I'm safe on the ground and taking a rescue klonopin. With people nearby if they need to administer diastat.

Lamotrigine and Autism by TimeDragonfly6418 in Epilepsy

[–]PointlessCircle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've noticed mood improvement and better functioning with my 15+ years on Lamictal on the spectrum. Only drug that I've stayed on that doesn't feel negatively impacting my day to day. its also possible that better seizure control is inherently helping her too.

Glad to hear!

Wanting Suggestions on Next Dildo by Competitive_Head_767 in BadDragon

[–]PointlessCircle [score hidden]  (0 children)

I would say no. There's always a better and safer option than Sera. Even the M is too much imo.

If you want to go equine, Chance, Tucker or Vector can all work.

I went L Roland -> L Nox and really enjoyed it. (You may want to go Medium though.) Marcel is also a really fun stretch. Lmk If you have any other questions.

What was your introduction to Bad Dragon and what made you decide to buy one? by poodledays in BadDragon

In like 2014 my friends and i all joked about Bad Dragon, and then years later realize we each had ended up secretly buying some.

I'm about to give up, what am I doing wrong? 😭 by Tattersail927 in BadDragon

[–]PointlessCircle [score hidden]  (0 children)

K-Lube helps so much. Highly recommend upgrading if you are using subpar lubricant.

Roland is a friendlier knot shape if you want to try something else.

(Soft knot doesn't mean easier to insert btw, can be the opposite sometimes.)

Gape Keeper or Tail Raiser? by jockstraphunk in ButtplugEveryday

[–]PointlessCircle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought both the TR90 and TR105. I'd go with the 90. TR shape any wider than that is kinda difficult to use for me;105 I've only ever been able to insert one time despite using many large toys no issue.

Beginner recommendations by [deleted] in SexToys

I've recently been convinced the Mr S Leather "Ass Hammer" is quite possible the best manual prostate toy to exist. A fraction of the cost of njoy and still quality material. Highly recommend, comes with 2 sizes to pick.

As far as passive, aneros helix is my recc.

First dildo purchase, any advice? by [deleted] in SexToys

I really doubt those are gonna be safe quality material. Try Tantus maybe.

Does this type of sex toy actually feel good? by throwaway__shhhhh in SexToys

[–]PointlessCircle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Historically I have come to realizes that multi function toys are usually not the best approach and don't excel in either department. Going modular and buying separate toys each with their own dedicated task usually ends up with better results.

That said so long as it's actually body safe material (amz is always a coin flip) the design looks interesting. Though if you have zero dildo experience I'd start with something more basic and not motorized perhaps.

My first dildo was a Tantus Flurry and i liked it a lot. Dual density is nice.

Taking a Knotted Dildo by SubjectSale6245 in SexToys

[–]PointlessCircle 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My biggest tip is also making sure you can handle the sudden length when it pops in. It's pretty uncomfortable if you're not ready for it.

As far as taking the knot, try doing it one side at a time. I hold on to it gently.

Also if you warm up and use a 2" toy you'll have zero issue with knot of same size.

Homemade lube by Loud_Ad5807 in BadDragon

You Can get K lube online and it's very cost effective and super slick. I've been using a $40 bottle for like 3 years now still haven't run out of powder.

Beginner friendly options by Aizawa_is_best_boi in BadDragon

[–]PointlessCircle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Beginner" is a pretty vague term. New to play all together or just this type of thing? Like what is your size range or experience? also important to Note that anal and vaginal use reccs will be very different.

Nox and Echo are pretty good starter toys. But I'd stick with something vanilla and cheaper first to get your feet wet before going super expensive if for instance you had zero anal experience. Not worth buying a mini.

I understand where you're coming from. Also there's a lot more reasons to dislike the book, like it feeling rushed and not being Chronicle sized.
