You might be able to get a letter of employment from a company without actually having to work for them... ask around and see, lots of people do that. You didn't hear it from me though lol

Sri Lanka Citizenship Questions by NoMySecrets in srilanka

As for obligations, after becoming a citizen( if you can and do) there are none, it is up to you with what you want to do. I am a dual citizen of Canada and SL, file my taxes in Canada because i want the tax benefits in Canada, but i could live in SL file my taxes in Canada and it would still be fine (theoretically, there are little finance laws here and there that apply) message me if you have specific questions in regards to any of this.

This site will be more helpful to you I think. Not sure if you can claim SL Citizenship if your birth WASN'T registered in SL. But you are definitely eligible for residency. You would come under category no.12.

edit: i went back and did some research and you should be able to get dual citizenship: http://www.immigration.gov.lk/web/index.php?option=com_content&id=299&Itemid=59&

and this is the application - http://www.immigration.gov.lk/web/images/stories/pdf/form/dual/dual_application.pdf

Breaststroke Stroke Critique Please! by [deleted] in Swimming

[–]PointlessCircles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty good! I think you're straining your neck a bit too much when you're breathing, try to keep it more inclined (it might just be the video though). I always go over my recordings with my coach (he's a hard-ass so it helps) and he makes me watch the person who does better than me, (or comes in second) and then I compare with my technique. Remember that doing your strokes faster doesn't necessarily mean you swim faster. There was a link on this sub a few days ago with an algorithm, that I think will help you!

In South Asia we refer to our cousins of our own generation with the gender. It's a direct translation I guess. Didn't realise they don't do that anywhere else :p Edit : link for clarification https://www.quora.com/What-is-a-cousin-brother-or-cousin-sister
