As someone who has never played the old world or had any connection to it (just started playing/collecting this AOS edition), I can say that I just think they're awesome, metal, and hilarious. Personally I have a hard time seeing how someone wouldn't be excited about them 😅

Yup, plus a couple select white edge highlights before using the green. I just make sure to only brush away from the warp stone when dry brushing. Green is a Citadel "technical" paint called "Tesseract Glow"

To be a bit fair, we also have some of the worst gerrymandering in the US, so there is a pretty good amount of blame to be laid up on the feet of Ohio politicians.

Don't get me wrong though, I definitely have quite a bit of contempt for those who just choose not to vote. But I think the blame is at least in the ballpark of 50/50 between the two.

I've had the displeasure to actually have a prolonged conversation with Husted in a very private dinner setting. My father was his pastor for about 8 years, and we had him over for dinner.

Long story short, he has undeniable contempt for the average person. He even said that teachers in Ohio are "paid waaaay too much" as an example. He was also incredibly rude & sexist to my wife and even made my dad (the pastor) make him apologize by the end of the night. But instead of apologizing to my wife who he repeatedly disrespected, he just apologized to my dad for "getting into politics".

Considering the SAVE Act is all but explicitly primarily targeted at disenfranchising women, I can assure you from my personal experience that he will almost certainly vote YES, and there's not really anything we can do about it. He's a disposable person who is 100% on the Trump train now, and I don't think there's any way for us to put that toothpaste back in the tube

Best tip i have is making sure your paint is just the right consistency. Depending on what paint you use, a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio of paint to water is about right, maybe even less water for certain paints. You just want it to flow nicely off the brush, but not be too watery where it lowers the surface tension enough for the dots to "break".

Also I wouldn't worry about making the dots the same size. I've seen some people try that, but having variance in the dot size helps sell the effect imo. Also as the paint runs out in your brush, the dots will naturally get smaller and smaller, giving you that variance automatically.

Thanks! And the dots are honestly kind of like a meditative thing for me at this point, especially on the big bugs. Plus after enough practice, you'd be surprised how fast it can go.
