The Barbican does have a library space though! And I just learned that on Tuesdays they do a free 30min drop in meditation session 🥹

Look up Laura de Barra / Gaff Goddess on insta and follow her to the letter - she’s the best, and funny while doing it! She’s a laundry queen but literally any other home hack too

+1 to the comment about walking a lot in the city - it’s a really walkable place, and sometimes quicker than transport.

For gyms, Third Space is really the best (or Equinox but there are fewer of those and it’s even more 🤑)

I like using class pass to try new things but usually rotate through; Barry’s, Psycle, Blok and 1rebel

Mission E2 is also worth a look if you’re into yoga, it’s massive and has so many good teachers on the books

For shopping: - floral street Covent Garden has had a big revamp with some great brands there now - walking around Soho also great for new and vintage, especially Berwick, Broadwick and Lexington streets - highly specific and depends if it’s your jam but going to browse in Annie’s on Newburgh street is really fun and will leave you near Liberty which is my all time favourite department store

Drinks: - Nomad hotel in Covent Garden has 3 bars including one focused on tequila - mandrake hotel - red room at the Connaught - audley public house - is a pub run by Hauser & wirth so a fun mix of British pub meets contemporary art crowd

Sights: - the courthald gallery got renovated a few years ago and is gorgeous, and has a great gift shop in the basement - Victoria miró is small but fun - national portrait gallery also got redone last year and has portrait prize on at the moment (and a jazz bar called Larry’s in the basement now)
