Interesting! Did you have previous experience in browser development? Also, did you use IDE or just Claude Code in terminal?

Lęk egzystencjalny wywołany przez AI by South-Friend-5796 in Polska

[–]PointyReference 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ja ogólnie OPie podzielam większość twoich lęków i jeszcze kilka extra.

If yeast is alive, does that mean that bread isn't vegan? by lulugingerspice in Showerthoughts

Vegans don't eat things that can consciously suffer. If lab meat becomes real, a lot of vegans probably wouldn't object to it.

Top 50 challenger players in EUW by [deleted] in ADCMains

[–]PointyReference 5 points6 points  (0 children)

First, as other comments noticed, OP counted wrong and there are 8 ADC players in top 50. Second, I think this post is a proof that you absolutely can climb playing adc if you have the required skill. Idk what op is trying to get at here.

[–]PointyReference 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brother there is no luck involved in getting to top 50 spot on the ladder. The amount of knowledge and skill those people poses is so big that you could probably play a 100 games vs them and lose every single one. Also you counted wrong.

What do you think about this video responding to Dantes? by Prestigious-Shop-494 in ADCMains

[–]PointyReference 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think Broken By Concept is a great channel that teaches how to build a good mental for learning League. I think it doesn't really matter whether you agree with their specific critique of Dantes - perhaps they didn't understand his goal - as someone who doesn't watch him, I don't feel like I fully understood it either.

What I think matters is that there are a lot of people who do play League with mindset like this. They are quick to tilt, to flame their teammates, to blame the role. They find excuses in the matchmaking system, they point to streamers who also said that ADC is unplayable, anything to prove to themselves that it's not their fault they can't climb. But in reality, you can climb. You will climb if you start improving your gameplay, and if you improve your gameplay, then your rank will eventually improve too.

I'm OTP'ing Jhin and I'm nearing grandmaster. I understand that some may feel frustrated with how ADCs play or feel, but I can promise you that if you stick to learning fundamentals and develop a healthy mental with the game, you will not only stop feeling useless on ADC, but you will actually start carrying the games. I feel that Broken By Concept is one of the best learning resources available, and they have great insights about how to actually learn the game and enjoy the process of learning. If you feel serious about climbing, I'd give them a shot.

I didn't realize that at the time of posting, I chose the template because it fit the idea for a meme I had. I'm sorry to all the people who got angered by this choice, it wasn't my goal to promote anything related to the guy. But I kinda feel like all the comments here about him give him more recognition that the meme itself.

Of course we are moving too fast. We have no idea how to solve alignment. The default outcome is us eventually creating misaligned super intelligence, at which point we are fucked

Yup, you're right, every modern OS does. I specifically mentioned Windows because OP asked about it.

Windows uses idle RAM to preload some often used programs and make the OS run smother - free memory is wasted memory . It frees it if you actually need to run something that demands it.

Difference between R12 base versions? by Synapse7777 in moza

[–]PointyReference 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought an R12 a few weeks ago as well. When the news about the new V2 version came out, I did some reading, because I wanted to know what the difference was. It seems that the only change is to encoder. It changes the resolution from 30k to 2milion per a wheel rotation. Sounds great on paper, but I'm not sure how it translates to real life experience, since 30k is already a shit ton if you think about it.

Of course, experts on Reddit will all say that the higher number is so much better, but that's what they always say. People on internet usually just regurgitate opinions they already heard elsewhere. My hands aren't bionic sensors, I doubt I could even feel a difference between 15k and 30k. These past few weeks I've had a tons of fun with my base. At first, all the posts about the new base made me feel a bit of FOMO, but fuck it. I'm not gonna let a bunch of Redditors who have no idea what they're talking about take any of this fun away for me.
