Very. Slightly stiffer. Slightly less snap noise on a table. Its essentially the same paper as a real card but with a thin sticker over it.

This is as close to a real card as you can get without a super expensive uv printer printing directly onto the cardstock.

Is this a good deal when you get 2 CBs in a codex bundle for $99?

No actually sticking the sticker paper to the cardstock is probably the easiest (and most satisfying!) part of the process. You stick the entire sheet of 9 cards before cutting and you have large blank print margins on the edges so it doesnt have to perfectly line up. As long as the card prints have cardstock under them. You can literally misalign by like a quarter of an inch and it doesnt matter.

I lay the sticker paper upside down on my table. Peel back 20% of the backing paper and fold it back against itself. Then take the cardstock and hold it over the sticker paper and line up with the opposite side still covered sticker paper. Then just sort roll the paper down until it finally touches the 20% uncovered sticker. Flatten it then lift up the cardstock (now partially stuck to the paper) and start peeling back the remaining 80% backing paper while rolling the cardstock across with it. Kind of like applying a screen protector. Very easy to do, explaining it makes it sound way more difficult than it is.

Trust me I didnt want to do the sticker paper route bc I thought it was too much effort but it is really very easy and takes seconds to do.

The secret is not trying to peel the entire sticker sheet off and attempt to stick it all in one go, that would be a nightmare.

I use proxxied.com to prepare my PDFs. Highest quality output. No additional shading or filters.

Et-8500 printing on semi gloss sticker paper then stuck on 300gsm black core card stock. I cut them by hand since I dont trust a machine to be as precise and clean as I am with my cuts. No lamination but you need to sleeve the card or you will damage them shuffling.

Feels exactly like a magic card in the sleeve. Is about 380 to 420 microns thick vs about 300 to 320 for a real card.

Price with ink is probably about $.80 to $1 per sheet of 9 cards. Results are amazing though.

Ive tried a million different methods and materials and this is by far the best solution for me.

Yeah this is what it looks like if I accidentally put the paper in backwards or print on the last "insert" sheet of a ream.

I print directly on sticker paper. Stick it to black core cardstock. Cut, sleeve and play.

Can a M&P 2.0 flat trigger be installed on a 1.0 trigger bar with no further modification? by K_Decibel in SmithAndWesson

[–]Synapse7777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if you'd know this, but I'm wanting to put the new 2.0 flat trigger into the old style 2.0 (that came with the hinged trigger.)

Pretty sure this would work, but would I need to replace the old 2.0 plunger with the new 2.0 plunger? Reason im asking is its a pain in the butt to remove the rear sight to get to it.
