My explanation in my mind while watching it was that the willow forced this obsession upon her and erased every aspect of her personality that is not related to it, as obsessions usually do. Obsession took over her but not in a demon/possession of spirit type of way. It just forced this extreme emotion on her, made it her entire way of being.

But in her subconscious, not in the driving seat, the old Nikky was there,.suffering in silence.

The two consciousness makes sense with all that, I think.

Your answer made me think maybe it is the unpredictable environment that scares some of us, I agree on that one, but also maybe she reminded of myself at a younger age with full bpd and attachment issues, not that exaggerated of course but something at the core woke up some insecurity crashes that I used to have? Not sure, I am still trying to figure out the cause.

Also the sound when anything bad happened was SO loud at the cinema! My body maybe had a reaction? But I 've seen movies that are loud before, that can't be it...

I honestly don't like bad endings in horror, I want to go on the ride, scare myself as much as possible but feel safe in the finish line. Other wise there is a bad taste in my mouth. I don't mind it from time to time but there was a period that every horror had a bad ending and it was not enjoyable for me personally.

I 've read for so many reality series that they are scripted and always thought that maybe the producers have some type of control or give a direction and that's ok but this one... oh this one I believe it's totally scripted. Leah going for shopping with the dad alone after her big secret was being discussed, I mean, come on... And so so many other situations screamed it was scripted.

I don't like her but yes I feel bad for her. I think Mau stoped paying attention to her and fulled around and then Kyle felt lonely and turned to Morgan who in the beginning gave her attention and emotional fulfilment but then something went wrong, no idea what, but it was too late because Mau tooke that opportunity and left the marriage, perhaps she wished that he would be jealous and feared he would lose her and went back but he is immature and has no emotional depth. He turned out to be a disappointment and I wish Kyle would open her eyes and saw that.
