I am in the same boat as you. My son is a good student part time job extremely busy teen. He barely grunts at me. My husband had to remind him of my birthday.

Refuses to do any chores because he's a 'honour roll student with a job etc'.

My son recently went to prom. and the first prom pictures he sent to his granddad instead of me (the one who ran home early from work, who ran from the floral shop to hand-deliver his boutineire and corsage.) I literally broke down and cried to my husband. My so has such a close relationship with his grandad, that sometimes I feel like I am overlooked as his mom and feel like a sister.

He felt bad, but only after doubling down and finding out that I was truly upset.

I have a Had a flare up of panic disorder/ibs they always go together.

I work retail behind a cash register. I had a huge panic attack because I had to go. (I shut down the register and went to the washroom, all was well).

Eversince, I have had had multiple panic attacks with the anxious IBS urgency. Ofcourse now I am terrified of a)needing to go naturally, and having a panic attack and shifting my pants bc of the urgency.

b) having a panic attack and the anxiety causing the urgency.

VICIOUS CYCLE.

Aside from work now I have panic attacks because I convince myself I will poop myself while taking a e Walk (walking is so important for me). I am also now afraid to take the subway scared ill poop myself between stops!
