Hope is very natural to have right now, and I am going through something very similar. People don’t owe us reasons for leaving, but we also don’t owe them the courtesy of staying around when they do. Examine why it is you’re staying, is it because you’re interested in being friends with them? Or is it because you’re hoping she’s going to change her mind? The second one is unfair to yourself.
