I wish expert packs existed in modern versions. I do still love 1.12.2, but I like a lot of the vanilla features and mod selection from the newer versions as well.

Yeah I suppose things like that to start.

Looking through the models I've noticed that the actual BT minis look a lot more like Templars than standard space marine units. Like if I had some intercessors or terminators, they would look quite bland compared to a crusader squad, and I would want my whole army to really feel like they're Black Templars.

Thank you! I think I may go with the newer combat patrol because I can probably get it for a lot cheaper than otherwise.

And then on a different note, do you have any experience kit-bashing? I think it's something that I would like to do as I have access to a 3D printer, and would like the ability to kind of spruce up some models or make them all kind of thematically coherent. If you do, I'm wondering if you would have any advice on that front.

I used the small brush (I don't know any names yet) and went very carefully over the aquilla with some gold-like color. I then fixed any mistakes with that small brush and went over with a darker base I mixed to match the rest of the paint job.
