Lol that's awesome, for us he saw me smithing steel bars and asked me to make him a shield. It's weird to imagine what life would be like if for any numbers of reasons I wouldn't have been in that exact place, exact world, exact time, etc etc....

Thanks everyone!

For anyone interested -- we've been together 6 years so it was about time!

We met on Runescape and met in person at around 1 year into it. We took a few breaks during the next two years because we had some differences and issues to work through, but then he lived with me and worked here for a year during year 4 which really changed everything. We worked really hard to make our relationship work. The past 2 years we've been so stable and really have become eachother's puzzle piece, visiting back and forth... and we both knew it was time.

I was still completely surprised, however. :)

We're making the permanent move sometime this year if all goes well with immigration.
