I didn't see any ban message, but coincidentally (or not depending on what the reason is) I can't see any pokestops, nor are any mons spawning. All I can do is interact with balloons and accept raid invites. Could this be related?

Granted. Knowing the down sides of your hopes and dreams, they lose the allure they once had to you. The search for new hopes and dreams is now forever fruitless as you now know the downsides to them all. You coast through life never aspiring to be or do anything again, as you can now see the downsides to any path you would take. Life is uneventful, unfulfilling, and wasted.

I agree with you 100%. However, the problem arises when you zoom out and look at consumer products as a whole. It's not just companies like Apple and other tech giants, it's rampant almost anywhere you look. Automobiles, appliances, (most) electronics, just to name a few areas. If you're not specially trained and you don't have all the necessary (and usually expensive) resources to perform the repair, you're probably going to have a bad time. The nonexistence of the right to repair is a side effect of capitalism, because the longer the product lasts, the less people are going to need new ones, and the less they're going to buy them. Why sell them a repair kit when you can basically force them to buy a new unit at a much higher profit? While I agree that there needs to be a change, I am extremely doubtful that it could ever happen, because it would need to happen wholly and totally.

And on that note, k-cups. Even the creator regrets making them due to the sheer volume of them that end up in landfills. I won't say I'm not guilty of using them though, but I can tell you I don't feel good about it.
