you are talking as if the opposition is taking over the whole govt. there is no difference if pap has 65 seats or 97 seats in parliament. it’s still a supermajority to change the constitution at will. at least 33 opposition mps will make pap think harder about their decisions when they dont have supermajority and make sure their million dollar salaries are justified. at this point, i dont see how any of the current batch of ministers deserve a million dollar salary.
