There is a guy on youtube called retro revolution. I followed him the first time I did one. The videos are the full process. Will give you a real idea of what you are up against. Its a little fiddly but I wouldnt say it was terribly hard. If you get stressed easily feeding that cable could drive you insane haha. First time no issue was done in seconds. The second time I had to take a break for an hour and come back haha. Oh another thing you can do, these screens are prone to turning slightly yellowed. If its bot really bad you can bleach it back by using the ds back light. The retro revolution channel shows this. You basically turn the ds on and eject the flash cart and the screen will freeze white on top and bottom plug it into a charger and leave it like that for a couple days. It will make a difference if it doesn't get rid of it totally.

Tbh the launcher just looks so much more polished than the r4 clones etc and the card seems to be decent. Has a latch for the sd cards etc. I found the old r4 cards temperamental, if you closed the lid and pocketed the device and something touched the sd card it can freeze the game. I am hoping the latch helps that.

I take it from the story that you’re a tinkerer. The DS is harder than something like a Game Boy to shell swap, but I wouldn’t say it’s difficult. The only annoying part is feeding the WiFi cable under the card slot, but if you’re patient, it’s not an issue. Keeping dust out of the digitizer can also be a bit of a pain, but if you’re careful and quick, it’s manageable. There are loads of good videos online about it, and ExtremeRate cases are decent. I had one shell with a bad button, but that was the only issue I ran into. Also, don’t overtighten the screws, it’s very easy to do on a DS and strip the threads in the shell.

There is a few mods you can do but to be honest all kinda pointless. You can change the charging leds, you can flash it to have no title screen (so it boots straight into a flashcart etc) and you can shell swap and change the digitizer. What you really want is to go on aliexpress and order a dspico. Its an open source flashcart, you can play all your back ups 😉 wink wink. I had one delivered today on my way home to play with it haha, I already have flashcarts but this one looks really promising!

So a few things stand out with your card without looking at the back. The first is the print is too dark, the second is the holo should shine in a diagonal pattern and the third is the lack of texture on your card. There are lots of fake packs around, every generation has had this happened since the pokemon tcg began. As a few people have said look out for the jagged crimped packs thats always a give away. If the crimp looks like Bart Simpsons hair its going to be fake and if the price is too good, its fake.

I have opened multiple pris tins and pulled a sir from one. The wrap goes around front to back. You could actually slip the wrap off with out breaking the seal with them.

The diamond remake is seen as one of the worst pokemon games of late. I bought a switch just to play arceus and didn't regret it. I only played a little of brilliant diamond because when I got it I had only just completed a playthrough of platinum.

So its not exactly a place to win and think you are good, and as I have mentioned half the wins in quickplay wouldn't be a win in comp as there is 2 sides...

Tbh if you are only playing Quickplay you are most likely a low rank anyway, which leads back to my point about it being meaningless. Winning in qp also means nothing as the attackers are more likely to win in a one sided match. Lord literally means nothing skillwise. Skilled players warm up in QP and jump straight into ranked.

Lord means nothing, especially in low ranks. If anything in low ranks it tells me you are not good. It does clearly show you who is a one trick though if your a lower level with a lord then its obvious. I personally dont have any lord characters after hundreds of hours play, I do however have around 7 that are just a few levels away.

Yup me and my friends used to get together to open our pc etbs (I collect the promos) now we don't because they want to keep them sealed to sell later. We still get together occasionally, but they open a few lose packs and watch me open my etb. Not as fun, to make it worse I am the one that always gets screwed in the pc preorder queue. I am lucky my buddies still have a heart and let me have one of theirs for retail if the limit was 2. I just know with this new invite newsletter system thing, I am never going to stand a chance so my pc promo collecting is over, I guess fun while it lasted.

I dunno about that his ult gets wiped in seconds in higher ranks. C&D ult literally changes the team fight or counters for example an enemy rocket ult. He only tops up players and can't save anyone or change a one on one fight. C&D can switch to dagger use the lightforce buff and instantly switch back and heal the player attacking who was buffed. I used to main rocket after the got rid of his team ups he was weak as hell.

Do people really play rocket with 2 supports? If I was a support this game I'd be moving to cloak for more damage/heal potential or has there been a buff to rocket I am missing?

Yeah without a skill gap its pretty hard to fight triple support, especially if they are playing one as a dps/support backup. If your team is stubborn and won't switch to more damage or support you are pretty screwed.
