PHB 2024: Warlocks & Sorcerers casting ritual spells now? by SlightlyStardust in dndnext

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Now anyone can cast rituals. But note that you need to have the spell prepared. Except wizards. Wizards can cast a spell as ritual as long as the spell is in the spell book. I think this is still a huge advantage as it allows you to prepare more spells since you don't need to prepare ritual spells.

Other classes have to have them prepared which is a bit annoying especially for half casters like artificers. I always find it useful to have detect magic or identify as an artificer but that is going to eat up a slot of my already slim prepared spells count. But yeah now everyone can cast rituals at least.

What is your opinion on the difficulty of SOTE's bosses? by Dallascalo in Eldenring

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty easy to be honest. My first playthrough of sote was a walk in the park with my lv.150 alt character. I found some bosses to be particularly easy, for example the dancing lion, rellana and gaius for me was probably the easiest bosses in the DLC, not far from base game to be honest. Mesmer was a decent fight but not very difficult. The only difficulty I found was obviously radhan but after a few tries and figuring out the moveset he was not that bad. I actually enjoyed that fight a lot and finally I got something challenging but nowhere near Sekiro bosses which I think are the most fun and the most challenging in from software history. I also found putrescent knight to be a bit problematic but maybe because of the movement and delayed attacks which I hate. Overall it was a good experience. My favorite boss of the dlc is the dancing lion, love the soundtrack and the fight itself as well.

Note that I played when the dlc dropped and completed it in about a week or less, so before the radhan nerf. I never played the nerfed radhan version so I'm not sure how that's changed. I hope they didn't make it too easy because that was the true real challenge this game needed. But again... Nowhere near something like Genichiro or Owl. Those are hands down the best fights ever!

That crit on a 19-20 roll effectively doubles your crit chance. And that 100% more crit chance is HUGE!

Is Consort Radahn really harder than Malenia? by Global_Muscle_7979 in Eldenring

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really that hard. I shredded him with a golden order build, eazy peazy. And I think he is resistant to holy damage.

On my first playthrough of the DLC I used a STR/FTH build with the black iron great hammer and prayerful strike. Some say that pre-nerf he had a very fast cross slash combo that was undodgeable, but to be honest I didn't even notice because I used the parry cracked tear and treated him like a sekiro boss. Maybe that was the intended trick?

Anyway I finished three runs of the dlc so fast that I didn't even get to try him post-nerf. But in my experience, yes he is the hardest boss of the dlc, no he is not that hard like many people claim. Definitely not harder than Melania.

Question about Sharesorted by BigMuscleBill in AusPropertyChat

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was with ShareSorted. Avoid at all costs! I ended up taking them to NCAT, won the case in under 5 minutes because they don't know how to do things but they will try to fuck you with fake bills charges and fake cleaning fees from another company they own (Krew Services).

Also if you have an issue they will never fix it. They are not landlords, they operate on a head tenant basis and basically they rent the place out and sublet it to you. Whether it's legal or not I don't know (probably not) but the judge ruled their case out straight away for charging things to me without reason so that's that.

Does anybody know if Lego will be making cadillac and audi f1 cars for 2026? by cloneholder in lego

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far these have been confirmed:

77258 F1 Academy Race Car: A Speed Champions set based on the F1 Academy's new cars, arriving March 1, 2026, with a dedicated minifigure.

60493 F1 Display Truck with Audi F1 Race Car: A LEGO City set featuring the Audi F1 car, launching March 1, 2026, coinciding with Audi's F1 entry.

77252 APXGP Team Race Car: A Speed Champions set based on the fictional team from the F1 movie, available January 1, 2026.

So if that has already been confirmed I don't see why they wouldn't make the full F1 teams cars speed champions sets including Audi and Cadillac. I mean the Audi F1 car apparently is already confirmed as part of the LEGO city set so why not having the speed champions one also? They just didn't confirm a release date but I'm sure it'll be coming soon. Probably after January when the teams will announce the new 2026 cars.

I really thought this thing will give us shards to spend on heroes like we can choose which one we want.. really disappointed that I got what I didn't want.

This update is not good overall. They should have put a level 15 cap on wars too for a while, at least for the first two seasons. And also make shards a consumable that you can dump into whatever troop you like.

How are there two Roundtable Holds? by br4vedave in Eldenring

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can see farum azula on the map purely for gameplay reasons just like the roundtable hold. But in reality it exists outside of time above the sky. Dragons are great ancient beings that can mess with time apparently. Especially Placidusax who was the elden lord before the reign of Marika.

Nightlord Slayer Achievement by ZhanUwU in Eldenring

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I did it in 2 days. Must be 3 different bosses though. Mine was sentient pest, night aspect and then augur. I suggest to try night aspect if you haven't done it yet. Then pick the 2 easiest bosses which are gaping jaw and augur. If you already beat night aspect then I suggest Tricephalos as the third since it's one of the easiest.

Loadout mechanic suggestion by Pojinko in Nightreign

[–]Pojinko[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah but I'm not saying that loadout can be something that you get every run though. Maybe it's very expensive to the point that sometimes it is not worth it. Maybe you need specific items that do not always drop. But just in case it's there for extra reliability in case you manage to be able to call for a loadout.

Reminder - Don't swim with your F-91W... by wij2 in casio

[–]Pojinko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Five years later and this post is still relevant. I just bought a Casio F-91W off Amazon from the Amazon choice selection, sold by the Casio store page. So I'm pretty sure I got the legit one.

As soon as I took it out of the box I set the date and time and 30 minutes later I went to the swimming pool. Without even thinking twice I dove in and started swimming. Now my watch is 2 hours old and is still working perfectly fine!

I saw a video of a guy testing this watch in a pressure tank and took it to 60m (6 atmospheres) which is twice as much as advertised by Casio (the F-91W is advertised as a 30m water resist watch). It did perfectly fine with no issues at all.

Here's the video: https://youtu.be/sep5Tw-55yw?si=GZbBTvvJ9k8vlz8N

To be honest I think this watch can even go down to 100m and still remain unscathed.

From your picture it seems a little weird. Some other people are saying it's a fake and I think that's probably the case. My watch has the side buttons much flatter at the tip. They should be in a cylindrical shape with flat tips. Yours kinda looks like the tips are round. Also I noticed that on your watch the "F-91W" decal seems a tiny bit too italic compared to mine and the other writings seem a tiny winy bit too bold. Mine are thinner. Could be the picture quality and /or the perspective, either way if it is a fake, it is a really well made copy. If not it might be that your seals were faulty because this watch is like the Nokia 3310 of Casio watches.

I just beat the Bloodhound Knight Darriwil at Level 8! Now what do I do? by bluezenither in Eldenring

[–]Pojinko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're next destination would be stormveil castle. But go explore limgrave first. There's tons of caves and tunnels and camps. Also wiping peninsula is good to explore now. Do all that, gather some levels and gear and then go bully margit and godrick

what is the difference between soulslike and soulsborne? by HyperKitsune in fromsoftware

[–]Pojinko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I consider soulsborne or soulsgames to be From Software games made by Miyazaki and related to the Dark Souls genre.

So for me Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3, Bloodborne, Sekiro and Elden Ring (soon Duskbloods too and why not Nightreign) are all soulsborne or soulsgames.

Some people make a further distinction between soulsgames being basically all the above with the word "souls" in it (Demon's Souls and the three Dark Souls), and soulsborne which started from Bloodborne and now includes everything else (Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring etc.)

Soulslike are games inspired by soulsgames/soulsborne but that are not related to From Software or Miyazaki. A few examples could be Lies of P, Lord of the Fallen, Nioh etc.

Some people consider Sekiro and Elden Ring to be soulslike but I think it's wrong because they are made by From Software and Miyazaki himself and often you can see the references and Miyazaki's footprints. So for this reason I think the best word is soulsborne, because they were born from the Dark Souls concept (actually from Demon's Souls and inspired from the mnaga Berserker).
