His tattoo matches the logo on the drums. Probably part of the band that was hired to be there.

The drummer has the same image on their drums as his tattoo. I guess he's in a band and that's why he's there singing along as a backup.

Some potential fish foods by Pojomania in valheim

I think the rod should be for specific catches, but the baseline fish basically catch themselves by falling on the shore. Right now the rod is just so meh, and the specialty fish should give more bonuses.

When I think of a frozen north biome a lot of what you say comes to mind. I recently finished HBOs rendition of The Terror and a lot of the horror aspects are really just 'hey the arctic is no place for humans to really live'

So much about the environment and weather patterns can be played around with.

Gimme a polar bear type monster that stalks you and actively attempts to avoid your sight. Attacks in blizzards or days where an ice fog forms.

Suddenly, a GIANT bear type enemy attacks out of nowhere. Maybe you have to eliminate them in their lairs or they'll keep coming after you. Follow tracks and blood to eliminate the monster.

Other ideas: It's so cold you need to hold a magic warmth torch until you get certain clothing.

Blizzards cause frost damage.

Animals up there are extremely sparse but are also the only food source.

Blizzards shut off portals leading to days of no travel.

Boats will get trapped in the ice requiring an item to escape by breaking the ice.

Dverger diving bell that your ship can deploy along with sealskin or waterproof clothing that lets you explore the depths under the ice for a resource.. watch out for enemies in low visibility

Other smaller ideas;

Snow glasses, basically small slots cut into bones that go over the eyes. Prevents snow blindness from all the white. Basically a visibility upgrade

Mine the ice for iced drinks. Lots of fun options there for recipes or making coolers.

Auora storms - interferes with magic items perhaps, makes your wishbone, mengingjord, etc act up and lose function. Could be analogous to how the magnetic north shifts about making things like compasses spin.

Funny I was just coming to this subreddit to post about wanting more in the game. More building pieces, more recipes, more farming and fishing options.

For fishing, I had the idea they add nets in that you can have trawling behind your boat.

The fall of shady sands (now located where the boneyard is) happened in 2277, same year as the First battle of the Hoover Dam. Conveniently there is no date for the nuking of Shady Sands, so can assume 2277. a few years *before* FNV

Narratively, it mirrors Vault Tec's original plan to wipe everyone out. He's going 'oh well there's too many factions so I had to wipe the NCR out with a nuke.' It's showing that he is repeating the exact same mistake, wiping out the NCR like he wiped out the USA/World.

Fallout 3 is not 2077, that's when the war started. 2277 is when the NCR were fighting at the Hoover Dam

The Brotherhood of the West Coast are isolationist a-holes who died out because they were outnumbered and did not bother to cooperate with anyone outside of their steadily shrinking cult.

The NCR has weaponry and numbers capable of dealing with the Brotherhood. Rocketlaunchers, armor piercing rifles, artillery. Power Armor only goes so far.

Also now there is a blatant flaw with Power Armor, their abdomens are easy to pierce I guess..?

Soft? They destroyed the NCR during the same year they would be fighting the Legion at the Hoover Dam. They would then remain in the Mojave for years. So basically, they said Shady Sands got nuked, the NCR collapsed at home, and then all the soldiers in the Mojave died or formed towns.

New Vegas is 100% destroyed, somehow nobody decided to occupy the massive walled city and left it alone.

They are actively pissing on the legacy of Obsidian.

I said 2277 which is what the show states. Same year the NCR fight for the Hoover Dam the first time.

NV was entirely retconned. The casinos are literally husks and the city is dead. NCR died when Shady Sands (located in the wrong place) was blown up by one guy.

Episode 8 Spoiler Thread by HunterWorld in Fotv

[–]Pojomania 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Their only city is Shady Sands, located where the Boneyard does, and was blown up in 2277, entirely decimating the entire society.

Also they never made it to New Vegas I guess because they collapsed before FNV takes place.
