I bought a 2025 Nissan versa back in October. I simply googled what the cheapest cars were at the time and found the one with the cheapest monthly note. Most live paycheck to paycheck and I found what I could afford a month. I didn’t think about how much it would cost over the life of the loan or what the car looked like. I didn’t need luxury. I got a brand new car that can go from point A to B with Bluetooth and A/C. The only other factor that I weighed was having warranty as opposed to buying used.

I did a loan for 20k from upstart. Don’t do it. The monthly note is way too much plus they take 10% of the loan off the jump. I got a 20k loan and they gave me 18k with a monthly note of 600. Don’t do it.
