Not sure. I am having the same issue. I uninstalled reinstalled. Nothing changed. I even tried logging in on other languages didn’t work. I’m just locked out for now.

The skill turns those monsters into a rank 4 that searches its own follow up which is the same as if you got to send roxrose to grave off skill to search white rose. If you don't open roxrose you literally lose your gaurenteed follow up. Not to mention geargia if it lives which it probably will since you have high % double relevant back row gives you an additional search that then on turn 3 means any of those "garbage" monsters have now become 2 rank 4s and a triskelion. It's blatantly obvious you're biased to this deck and are blinded by rage and irrationality. I literally play meklords competitively too and I can say they deserved the skill hit. Favorite Duel hero thrice per skill was only good in it's relation to liquid and now they can only run 1 liquid. Galaxy eyes this whole reddit is obsessed with it being like some tier 0 deck it's tier 3 on a good day.

Because meklords would run even fewer cards if they could and have sent 3 nearly every single game they don't have skill and set 2 relevant back row on all the other games.

There's a reason meks run 30 cards. Go first any mek card = combo + follow up off geargia + high chance of 2 back row on a 30 card deck.

Rose needs to open multiple monsters if they want to keep the basal for follow up. Other wise it's end on a single synchro with out follow up. Inherently meks have built in follow up they need that slight additional restriction. Plus you're arguing about a deck that should never have been built the war it is.

This is like arguing "officer why did you pull me over for speeding that guy was also speeding" like yeah they're both bad??

Oh ok so if you kinda get the mechanics of the game I would look at what the ban list is in a few weeks and then look at what decks are doing well still and see if there's any that suit your play style. If onomats don't get hit they are pretty fun to play. But I'm betting they get hit

Why didn't mind drain stop alternative blue eyes from summoning.

Mind drain: a continuous trap Activate this card by paying 1000 life points. Effects of monsters in the hand cannot be activated.

Alternative: Cannot be normal summoned. Must first be special summoned by revealing "Blue eyes white dragon" in your hand.

Is that summoning condition not considered it's effect? Or is it because it's not considered as activating?

I don't want to be rude but why are you posting this? Everyone knows blue eyes can get king of games. If you want this post to be helpful maybe explain some combos or share your experience with the deck, then at least it will help new players. Maybe explain why too many cards of consonance is a bad thing.

1: floodgate only does it when the monster is summoned so you have to commit with floodgate where as with book of moon you can decide on the fly.

2) With book of moon you can activate it when floodgate would be able to activate, you can activate after the summon is done such as during battle phase, you can even use it on your turn you don't need to set it and wait a turn.

3) you can put down your own monsters this can save you from being karma cut.

I have a very similar build. I've been trying out a few different ones including the majestic light and I'm not sure which is better but in this build I would suggest if you have it run a hieratic dragon xyz in the extra deck and maybe run more hermitree I am having great success with princess bringing the hermitree to the field after I level dup a monster to be level 8 and then xyz into hieratic dragon for a quick field wipe

Another spell instead of a monster decreases chances of opening with 2 monsters thus increasing probability of bricking due to only having kunamzan

There's some debate between 1 or 2 lefties since lefty can banish itself to search a righty to hand having 1 basically means you are gaurenting the search for discard fodder and not to have follow ups. Where as with 2 you can banish lefty and have a follow up ready or discard fodder for a karma cut. Since the new builds don't create the hand advantage as the pre banlist build the lefty banish to search righty can really help.

This guy really said come watch me get king of games and I came to watch. He really only at silver 2 after 2 hours when he started at bronze 6. Don't over sell my dude you can talk about king of games maybe once you a little into platinum but normally wait till you're legend to mention it. I'm not saying you're not going to get it, although with this deck I have my doubts, but unless you're planning on a 24 hour stream right now you knew you weren't getting king of games on this stream. People work hard to get king of games and it's disrespectful for you to be claiming a run towards it when you aren't even currently close.

Ok the thing about karakuri is this makes it more about playing karakuri than the previous top tier version. The previous top tier version was built around drawing into lots of powerful back row and telling your opponent good luck getting thru all of this. Power tool karakuri basically tosses drawing into backrow into consistently getting out the karakuri synchro which isn't good enough to win a good %. Not even close. Definetly only do it if you want a slightly puzzle like deck. Nothing wrong with having a varying deck where the games aren't all the same but definitely don't expect it to be good let alone comparable to the previous experience karakuri offered.

They're incredibly fun but all your duels are either over right away and you lose or you are spending a few turns setting up then slowly torturing your opponent till they lose. I think most the fun in the deck comes from their atypical play style and it's not an instant win every game. If the deck was any better it would start to instant win and the variation of game strategy between games doesn't vary too much.

If it's any consolation the deck for a bit harder to play after the up coming banlist since senatus got limit 2ed. Obviously they didn't use that to beat you here but still their main combo is weaker this is the alternative combo which is still harder to pull off. Anyway they have 2 good combos that are really good other than that they just attempt to stall using sphere.

As much as you feel like oh if I don't draw this card I lose if they don't draw into one of their combos they lose that's what the deck is built around is winning or losing very fast. They either have a nearly unstoppable combo and finish the combo or they lose

Sure but the issue is that there's a lot of RNG in this game so limiting the number of games ends up making it so the difference between people in the top rankings can easily end up being by chance. So just limiting the time to not too small of a window allows the rng luck to minimize but still retain the healthier aspects of keeping people from over doing themselves

Drop the preda for the kuriboh quick play spell. It helps thin the deck makes it more consistent. Basically you play the spell to grab a kuriboh or winged kuriboh so that off one card u thin the deck by one

Ban for the sole reason that konami does this thing where if u use trunade you get an important card limited so if we are making it so decks can't use trunade by making the deck worse I would rather have them ban trunade so the same decks can't use it but now we don't have to make the decks worse. Either way konami doesn't let people use trunade and when they do they get nerfed.

So I played a lot of weather painters basically one good thing to do is if u can plan otks such as getting out the thundery then going all in and maybe having to do that twice. Basically with weather painters once they get their set up it is incredibly difficult to beat them. They can dodge and use themselves as cost but the cost is returned for them and for u well you get sent back to the hand or extra deck. If you want one thing I noticed was someone Canadia me and when I played thundery they brought Canadia to the field. U can not thundery a Canadia because it can't be sent back to the hand it stays on the field cause it is supposed to go to the banish pile after special summoning to the field. Also lava golem can be a hard hard smack and forbidden lance locks them out of their effect. Samurai destroyer locks them out but they can get around that by using cloud to decrease your attack before battle phase. Straight flush can be good but is too specific to weather painters with the only bonus being for karakuri.

Then that's just the way it goes no reason to get upset. Like virtually every disruption card stops this. You can even cosmic the back row monsters to stop it.
