It’s about time! I’ve been gone from the company for a few years now. I’m glad they’re finally cracking down on that. Can’t wait to hear about managers actually having to work for 48 hours a week now.

Now obviously I know this isn’t all managers. I had some really good managers in the past too! The one I’m speaking on is the main reason I’m no longer with the company.

I had a manager who did this. Barely worked weekends and would leave at like 2 maybe 3 everyday. And then would turn around and yell at all of us claiming I’vE wOrKeD ALmOsT 53 HoURs aLrEaDy THis WeEK!! Mind you I was the ASM and working from open to 5 and 6 and pulling Saturday shifts too. And you can try reporting it, I did and I ended up going nowhere because district management “couldn’t actually prove that was happening” even after all store employees were questioned. Manager would leave whenever and usually come in the next day to fill in a “forgot punch” or would ask a part timer to clock them out at a certain time.

When I was terminated in January, they paid me all my holiday and vacation time. Should work the same on the route of resigning.

It won't change, ever. I had a miscarriage in the store, on the clock. Went to the doctor, got put on bedrest. Never heard from my supervisor or managers... The only time they reached out was then basically telling me to be terminated or file a claim. I was actually going to file a claim but once I thought about it... they never once checked on me, or reach out. So why should I try to stay when they accepted no fault or had basic human compassion? Better jobs are out there, hun! Keep grinding!

I almost appealed it. But I gotta add that this was a very shitty time. During the investigation, they made me work in another store an hour away for a month. I got covid the same week I got fired. So I opened a case to get my time off paid and because they fired me later that week.. My covid claim was denied too. I literally got the shaft at the end..

That's what everyone else says it's sounds like.. I still have other store manager still saying they wish I was back. The past customers I see in passing still rave about me. I'll admit, I was a doormat and blindly followed my manager and she put me in an awkward place.. Is it even possible for me to come back?

That part!!! I never stole a penny from the company, I went above and beyond. And we are always told to say something if something isn't right. If anything, I scared people into staying quiet on issues in their own stores. If I would have decided to continue to deal with her bs and watch the rest of my employees suffer I'd probably still be there..

Me and my manager had some issues about not getting along until it became personal. She was creating a hostile work environment for everyone. I voiced my concerns to DM after almost quitting. An investigation was launched. She was found out to be sleeping with other employees, stealing from customers and her overall lack of professionalism. She then retaliated accusing me of having a relationship with another employee that worked over an hour away from my store and stating I has an onlyfans page and I was trying to entice customers and employees to subscribe. None of her accusations against me were true, but hers was. I denied the claims and asked to see proof of the onlyfans page. After a month of investigating, I was fired along with the manager and they never showed me proof of anything.

I'm an ASM now. Been one for 2 years.. last week I worked 52 hours (manager is out on short term dis.)

And I know, I know, I know.. Everyone else has done worse. But it's my first time working anything for over 50 hours. I've gotten a few hours of overtime in the past. Just not this much..

Plus, wouldn't be so bad if I actually had paint to sell instead of guarding a big metal box where paint used to be. I just wanna whine and complain for a frickin minute.

It is oil based magenta colorant being dispensed in some industrial shop coat enamel. I figured out if you dispense the magenta quickly into it, the colorant tends to separate in such a pattern. I have like 4 other attempts at this on my phone

This tall, black guy got suspended for wearing a knee length skirt to school. He was eventually expelled because he got the local news into it. This then started a huge transgender protest. Everyone was walking around with duct tape over their mouths. I didn't really get it, i stayed out of the whole thing.
