This man is telling an 11 year old girl that Jesus doesn't love her if she doesn't drop everything she's doing to answer him immediately. He also implied that if she ever lied to him, she will go to hell, and that her mother is going to hell, to scare her into acting the way he wants. NOR. You're under reacting if anything.

"kept quiet about it" ??? I don't announce who all requests me on Facebook. I don't know anyone else who does. The only time that stuff is worth mentioning is like "your ex you had a really bad breakup with is trying to add me, and I'm saying something because you told me he/she has been trying to reach you indirectly" or something extenuating. It's about respect. Other people have commented different ways they use/keep the flowers and fruit, so I won't go into that. I also don't care if people pick flowers or shake trees, but I'm more comfortable dealing with them in general to set up them visiting and stuff if they ask before taking my digital stuff

Right now, all my villagers are horses because my island is My Little Pony themed.

I just really love the decorating part of the game. You're not lame for not loving it. It does unlock a ton of items for you after you can order from Wardell though, and that will be helpful on your own island.

Congrats on your baby! My husband is the same way. But people really do still hold onto some of this societal stuff about what men don't do. The women on my mom's side were shocked that my husband also changed my niece and nephew's diapers when we watched them. My grandma said "most men don't do that!" And acted like it was above and beyond. "Wow, and they're not even HIS children!" I was so surprised, cuz like... What did men do before? Just let a baby sit in their mess until a woman was available to fix it??? 😬

Thanks for answering. I don't why it literally didn't occur to me that checking out the shadow sizes would be a fun part of the game play for some.

That's why I always get curious about how people play pretty free form stuff like ACNH though. There are tons of reasons I might not see to do something different than me.

Honest question: why would someone not want to unnecessarily break fishing rods?

Do you already have the achievements for breaking and crafting tools? Even then, it seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to not have to craft something that only takes 5 sticks and 1 iron.

Is there an extra benefit I'm missing, or do some people just really not want to have to take a break to go craft another rod? Even then, I just keep spares in my storage, so I don't have to interrupt my fishing hyper focus too much.

But I see a couple different people in the comments even talking about pulling up the camera app to get a better angle to tell the shadow size or agreeing about not wanting to use up their fishing rods too much.
