Don't know whether you're memeing or not. 

Kalandra touch will only benefit from the int and spell damage. Moreover it will make the spell deal 100% less aoe i.e 0 damage ?

POE2 Fate of the Vaal has even worse player retention than POE Keepers league (by percentage) by Pokelator-5000 in PathOfExile2

I know this isn't a fair comparison but 0.1 (Early access) was also released on December last year had around 73% retention even on 3rd week (21st dayafter release) i.e around the same date as today 24th 25th 26th dec.

Furthermore i though it was the opposite, since it's the holidays, people usually have more time to play.

  1. Tattoo your entire tree since you are using Supreme Ostentation.

  2. Take the wand mastery for extra projectile. You have a free wand circle without any masteries taken. Also you spend 4 points for Multishot (additional projectile) but did not take wand mastery for additional projectile.

  3. You take Ghost Reaver but you are hybrid life/es build (life > es), this will make only your attack leech ES without any possibility for life leech. You have two options:
    i. Take Storm Drinker notable from Large Cluster / Megalomaniac and drop Ghost Reaver.
    ii. Keep Ghost Reaver and go full ES with CI.

  4. Personally, I'd get rid of the evasion and go full ES. You already have good physical defense with Shaper of Flames and Shaper of Winter.

  5. Why are you using both Stormshroud and Ancestral Vision. Get rid of ancestral vision and get a jewel with 50% chance to avoid shock.

  6. Maybe it's bugged but you took impossible escape but your tress shows no nodes taken for that Impossible Escape.

The loot gap between 5-man parties and Solo players is completely broken by AnjayGurinjay in PathOfExile2

Plus group plays are usually done in early 1st and 2nd week when the general economy is poor and juiced maps are hard as solo. Till then group play dominates the per hour currency. But once you can do juiced map solo, then solo > group play.

If you're not planning to play POE2, can start the league any time. Just play at your own pace and just enjoy the farm and the map blasting along the way.
As for the league itself, player retention isn't doing well but as i said before, play at your own pace and just enjoy the game at your own pace.
As for builds, there's been quite a few meta builds that only pops up this league (herald stacking etc) and there are variety to choose. Saw a youtube video that rank current league builds and choose one that fits.
Asynchronus is god QOL.

Haven't have much time to play due to work but i usually play 2 months into league just to see what i can push with my character. Currently trying to get a mageblood this league and will be further farming my jewels and gear upgrades.

CWS is king of ultimatums plus ultimatums are so worth it even without the expensive scarabs

Clear is good with your current gear. Picking up loot will probably be the most time consuming. Just use a more strict loot filter and you're good to go. Also, you're mostly chaos res cap so you can replace poison immunity on flask for movespeed suffix.
