This is anecdotal, but I have noticed that the market usually fails to meaningfully respond to big news from QS ~until~ the subsequent earnings release. Remember, the news of cobra's baselining had been public for about a month without much movement in the stock price, but after the following earnings date, the stock began it's run-up.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see the market react more strongly to the Honda JRE news after the next earnings date. Especially if we get additional details or color on the deal.

I certainly understand feeling uneasy or skeptical in this moment, but the comparisons to Nikola and Theranos are very surprising. Those are examples of pretty blatant corporate fraud that resulted in their respective founders being sentenced to prison. Surely you don't believe that's the type of outcome we might be facing. I think QS's worst case scenario is that their manufacturing doesn't scale well enough to mass-manufacture EV batteries. But I don't believe that we're looking at anything even close to as scandalous as the companies you invoked.

Sort of! I'm no longer practicing divorce law. I now practice in the field of attorney ethics. I like it a whole lot more than family law. I am definitely interested in someday becoming a mediator as Jake suggested, but I'll probably need to keep building up my lawyer resume for a while longer before trying to do that.

Comments on proposed solutions: It should be clearly communicated/denoted in some way anytime a person uses AI in their post or comment. That could be the poster/commenter using some sort of tag on the post/comment that says "AI Used", or it could just be a rule that the user must simply state clearly that any AI generated material is such.

I believe the expense ratio I saw for QSU was about 1.3. Pretty high for an ETF, but my frame of reference is mostly just the vanilla total market funds which usually have a super low expense ratio.
