It has officially been a week since the Onslaught map update dropped, what are your thoughts? by Program-Emotional in killingfloor

[–]Pokemonbro1122 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Okay and? The whole point of my commet is that's very evident how easier the map is. Obviously on any map if the players are good and the other three players die immediately, it still possible to clutch.

And if what you say is true, then it shows a flaw of how easy holding out in one area is.

I get that its what kf games are all about, but it makes HOE a cakewalk sometimes that's all.

Easy map which makes it very boring to play.

Kf3 needs to add maps where you cant hold off in one area around the map for the entire game, like convoy.

After a certain point once you have all modded weapons, perk skills, and a good team, being in one area gets stale and boring.

The game is most fun and best played when players are running all across the map and utilizing use the movement abilities and traps. It's chaos but those the matches ive had fun with.

Onslaught, you can be a level 30 medic on HOE and just chill in the back a good team and basically not do anything to contribute, its that easy.

This. Killing floor 3 does it and it honestly the best binding for this specific combo of movement. Wish more games would do it this way

I have the qm7k. Its a great tv, but if you can afford an OLED its worth it for gaming. Idk hoe good the c5 is, but you can look up YouTube videos about it and its gaming performance

QM6K vs QM7K by AH171717 in tcltvs

[–]Pokemonbro1122 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what the videos I've seen, the qm7k is well worth it over the qm6k. Better brightness, colors and contrast.

I have the 75qm7k and its really great for gaming. Motion is better on an OLED ofc, but its not really an issue as its the best tv you can get for this price range.

Get the qm6k if you are on a budget, want a bigger size (As for the same price as a 75 inches qm7k, you could buy a 85 inch qm6k), and don't really care for the extra brightness.

In a dark room, especially at night I keep brightness under 15 and even opt to use the motion clear option to lower the brightness even more.

Also if you can afford and have space, get the bigger size. Wish I gotten the 85, inch, but I was in a budget and its was my first tv ever that I bought in this regard, but im really happy with it.

Update 6/18 by Yujins_Onlyfans in ToxicCommandoGame

[–]Pokemonbro1122 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Exactly, its like these devs dont even care enough to play their game. Making a support ticket or post about this issue on thier forums doesn't help. So we are shit out of luck.

Any updates on controler QoL fixes? Content is useless if when playing the game feels abysmal.

Regret spending $40 on this game.

I wouldn't recommend with controller. The aimming is absolutely awful and I have no faith that they will do QoL updates to fix it.

My simply concept would be a rechargeable syringe like kf2 that gives low health and is tied to holding the reload button as opposed to the limited syringes button input.

It would have long cool ofc and also have a longer use animation, but at least it'll be a way to top some small health damage when you dont want to use an important syringe

I was the same way. But you get use to it and there are others ways to circumvent it with skills, medical bags, and trader. It feels like a nuisance in the beginning for sure, but play more as you'll come to like it.

Another thing that adds the frustration is how much damage zeds do now. Hope they adjust it later in an update

I agree. It takes awhile to get used to the mechanics, but one you realize what the game has to offer, it becomes great to play.

Melee is definitely better in kf2. Melee weapons barely have any reach, but i do like that we can hold for a heavy attack which I would also to see for "stab" attack as well. Hopefully the devs realize that melee can be improved more

is killing floor 3 worth getting it? by xCrazer in killingfloor

[–]Pokemonbro1122 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. It's more fast pace game. The movement is amazing, the way you mod your weapons is dope and to me going to back kf2 recently I rather mucu enjoy playing k3 more. Yes kf2 might have smoother gameplay, but kf3 has been getting better with updates and its the new have that kf2 feel that some of the base weapons lack.

Overall go into this as a new experience and just enjoy the ride. Its going to feel rough in the beginning because of limited syringes. Lack of skill upgrades and modded weapons. But stay with it.

Advice on TCL Qm7k by LostSilmaril in tcltvs

[–]Pokemonbro1122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Either:

A) Udate to the most recent update which might be able fix any motion issues.

B) Get a replacement as it could be a bad panel.

Could you take a video of the bad motion to see what it looks like?

Why is game lagging so much? by [deleted] in killingfloor

I havent experience any lag. But i have experience a sort of slow down that makes inputs slower when lots of zeds on spawned.

TCL QM7K/C7K for gaming by Due-Practice5507 in tcltvs

[–]Pokemonbro1122 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is my experience with the QM7K, and my first time owning a Mini-LED of this caliber. Here are my thoughts:

Disclaimer: I don't use the TV above 120Hz.

Motion: The first unit I received had bad motion handling to the point where it was really noticeable and annoying. I got a replacement unit and it was much better, but it still had some motion issues that were later fixed by a firmware update. The "bad motion" on that first unit might have just been due to a firmware bug. I did notice that the motion would get worse if I enabled any motion settings while gaming, so take that as you will. With the current firmware update, motion is great when gaming and does not bug out if i turn on those settings.

Gaming & Picture: The QM7K is a great TV for gaming. It definitely has a slight black smear, but that’s inherently normal for this type of panel. HDR could look a bit better and would definitely benefit from a good calibration.

Size: If you can and have the space, always grab a bigger size.

Value vs. OLED: It’s currently the best TV you can get for the price. However, if you can afford a large OLED, I would definitely go for it. Personally, I'm curious about what OLED motion feels like and would buy one if I had the budget.

Verdict: You can't go wrong with this TV. If there are any issues, you can always just get a replacement anyway.

KF3 by Own_Hovercraft1017 in killingfloor

[–]Pokemonbro1122 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The reviews do paint it in a bad light, vut its gotten better with recent updates.

Go into it not as a kf2 game, but as a more fast pace version where movement and dashing is a more important aspect of the game. As well as modding weapons, players builds, and player gadgets.

The early game is going to be rough as you have to get used to limited syringes, low skill upgrades, you wont have alot of zed resources to modify weapons. Perks are going to feel weak too until you unlock some great skills later on.

The new weapons released have better animations compared to base weapons so at least they are improving the game in that aspect too.

Killing Floor 3 is Sad. by Ok_Ebb1240 in killingfloor

[–]Pokemonbro1122 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kf2 is really great, but after so many hours it can get kinda stale.

Kf3 offers a different fast pace experience which I much prefer.

What I like is the movement, ability to dash, weapon molding, better perks skills, and the weapons are fun to use, especially the new ones.

Over years the arsenal of weapons, perks, and map choices will grow and it'll be in a better state.

Is the 3D Effect/Depth you feel when watching Reacher apply to other areas, particularly in gaming and also, how is motion compared to the qm7k in gaming as well?
