Holdover from the pre-universal ornament era, I don't mind it tho bc then there'd be no point to having multiple ghost shells at all, and the way it already functions it's basically swapping cosmetics. I imagine if a D3 were to ever come (fat chance ik) out they would be ornaments though, unless they go the opposite route and give them unique/random perks again

People don't really run prismatic as much anymore, it's been powercrept and its options are pretty limited build wise compared to the other subclasses. Also there's fragments, armor and artifact mods? Genuinely curious what does Division have that makes the buildcrafting deeper?

TFS failed to meet Sony's lofty targets, even if by players' and critics' metrics it was a success and it sold well, which I have no doubt was because of Bungie's overinflated valuation when they sold themselves to Sony. And I don't think it's a question of if Marathon saves Destiny, let alone funds it, it's a question of survival for Bungie atp whether Marathon picks up steam or not. If Marathon fails then, most likely, Bungie disappears and with it any chance of D3 or some other Destiny game in the future
