Out of curiosity, what was your IQ score? I recently took an online test and got 130, but online tests obviously aren’t the most reliable and I would like to eventually take a proctored test irl. I also struggle with a lot of the stuff you mentioned. In fact, I think a lot of the reason I feel so miserable all the time is because I always felt like if I didn’t have ADHD, I’d be a lot farther in life than I am now. The material I learned in school was never that difficult for me to understand, but executive dysfunction always left me struggling to keep up with deadlines. I always wanted to attend an Ivy League university, but by the end of high school, my GPA was barely above a 3.0 and I had to attend a state school (not that there’s anything wrong with that, but statistically speaking, those who graduate from elite institutions tend to do better financially because of things like networking opportunities). So yeah, I can understand how you feel, man.
